Notices:

  1. The information and data in this instruction is useful, please try to read it before operate it.
  2. The reverse osmosis system removes up to 98% of chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals, sediment, and other contaminants. And the output water quality depend lots on the flow rate and raw water quality; please try to make the input raw water meet the reverse osmosis standards.

Reverse Osmosis System Operation Principles

If pressure greater than the osmotic pressure is applied to the high concentration the direction of water flow through the membrane can be reversed. This is called reverse osmosis (abbreviated RO).

Reverse Osmosis system permeate calculation method:

  1. recovery rate: Production treated clean water= Input raw water quantity ×(60%--75%)
  2. salt rejection rate: Treated clean water TDS = raw water TDS X [1- (98%--99.5%) ]

Installation Procedure and steps:

  1. Choose the right place and build the Equipment foundation by Concrete construction. With the dimensions of : Width 3m, Length 15m, Better have the Shelter. The Containerized RO System gross weight is: 3700kgs.

  1. Connect the Main AC Power Cable Wire, power voltage=380V, Phrase=3P with 50Hz, Loading Voltage=30Voltages.

Cable wire: YJV-3 x 16 +2 x 10

  1. Open the connect ports on the container, included: inlet raw water port, clean output water port, discharge concentration port, Power Cable wire. Exhaust air hole or widow.

1. Connect the feed water pump to the inlet pipes.

Notice: (there is a screw in the raw water pump for leaking the Air if the water can’t enter in the first time).

  • Connect the clean water pipelines.
  • Connect the concentration water pipeline to wastewater tank.
  • Connect the wire cables according to the drawing as below.

  1. Sand filter filling, Multi-functional Valve Controller operation manual documents please contact with us.
  • Fill the sand in the FRP tank, the amount of sand should be about 60%--75% full tank.
  • Be sure not to get any sand into the sandpipe which will be wide open.
  • Tight the filter head well.
  • Give a thorough backwash of the sand 3—5 times.
how to fill the carbon and sand in filter
  1. Carbon filter filling
    • Fill the carbon in the FRP tank, the amount of carbon should be about 60%--75% full tank.
    • Be sure not to get any carbon into the sandpipe which will be wide open.
    • Tight the filter head well.
    • Give a thorough backwash of the carbon 3—5 times until the water clean
  1. Soften filter filling
    • Fill the soften resin in the FRP tank, the amount of soften resin should be about 60%--75% full tank.
    • Be sure not to get any carbon into the sandpipe which will be wide open.
    • Tight the filter head well.
    • Give a thorough backwash of the soften filter 3—5 times until the water clean
  2. Filling RO Membrane

RO System treatment process

  1. Connect the Water Level Detector into your Input Water Tank and Clean Water Tank for Automatic control.
  1. Test and Commissioning the RO System
  • Make sure all the installation and connection properly
  • Manual Test Start the RO System firstly, Open Pressure switch half, clean water manual valve, discharge manual valve, power switch, booster pump button, high pressure pump button. Adjust the discharge manual valve that make sure the clean output water quantity reach 2000Liters /Hour
  • Once manual open the RO System running properly, then turn all the buttons to Auto (Booster Pump, high pressure pump, inlet E-valve, flush E-Valve), RO Controller to START.

Notes & Maintenance

Please according to the instruction make a proper installation, operation and clear wash before using.

  1. Please protect the tank no pollution and correct connection.
  2. Please check the input pressure regularly, if the pressure is too low to filtrate, then try to increase some pressure, once the input pressure stills no increase, it’s probably blocked need to clean.
  3. During production, normally, the pressure is about 0.2 MPa or less, the maximum pressure can't more than 0.25 MPa, otherwise it will damage the filter breakdown, tank or even accidents
  4. Cleaning process, almost very week try to clean one time, just turn on the valve to “ back wash” about 2 minutes, then turn to “fast filter” outlet the clean water, repeat 1 times , then turn to “filter” location is ok.
  5. When the equipment planning to stop working for a while, please clean the FRP vessel and make sure clean.
  6. Working temperature: 20 to 45

Reverse Osmosis System input water quality demanded

it removes up to 98% of chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals, sediment, and other contaminants that other systems fail to remove while adding good minerals to produce clean, pure mineral water with a neutral pH (pH 6.8 - 7.2) and restores 15-30 ppm natural calcium and magnesium minerals removed during the reverse osmosis process to produce clean, pure pH Balanced Mineral Water on Tap.

Notice: Please consult your local water expert when you install this reverse osmosis system, because any of the pollution index failure to reach its requirement that has the potential to harm or shorten the life time of the RO plant.

The raw water pollution index

Item Recommend Value Max Value Remark
SDI(Silting density index) Less than 4 5 Important pollution index of entering water
Turbidity 0.2 FTU 1.0 FTU
Iron (Fe ) Less than 0.1 mg/L 0.1 mg/L
Chloride&chlorine(Cl&Cl₂) 0 0.1mg/L
Working Temperature 5—35℃ 45℃ When PH up to 10, the highest temperature is 35℃
Pressure (MPa) 1.0—1.6 MPa 4.1MPa
PH 4--9 3—11

Reverse Osmosis System Maintenance Notices

Normal the RO System design in uninterrupted operation model, however, the ro system will be stop and start regularly, here some suggestions should be specially noticed when stop or start the Reverse Osmosis System.

  1. When you are going to stop the reverse osmosis system, you need to use clean water or other high quality clean water flush and clean the whole system, that replace the raw water has high salt percent, until the concentrate conductivity and input raw water conductivity are in the same value . And during the flush process, make sure in low pressure (about 0.3MPa) running. High flow rate will be better for cleaning.
  2. Make sure the clean water no containing any chemical; please turn off the raw water valve when finishing flush clean.
  3. If the reverse osmosis system need to stop above 48 hours, please notices:

Make sure the membrane has some clean water in case of dried; otherwise the production flow rate will be reduced.

Protection well that no bacteria multiplying or flushes and cleans every 24 hours.

If possible, put the reverse osmosis system in cool and low temperature place.

  1. There is not a big issue when just stop working in 24 hours, but want to stop above 48 hours and can’t make sure have time flush every 24 hours, please use special chemical protection the reverse osmosis system, like use the 1—1.5% of sodium bisulfate solution.
